I`m heading up to Toomula for 3 nights. Planning on fishing the shoals up that way and maybe out further if the airforce has moved on ???

Might try over at Croc early Sat/Sun morning, just casting lures. Catch the tide on the up.
Cocoa has been pretty good apparently bubs. Might be worth a try.
Going to the reef Monday now. I think we are spearing thou. I'll have to check with my captain.
do you think the weather will hold out for a decent reef trip Monday? from Townsville
Have a good one whatever you do guys. My whole weekend has been F'd/up by on-call. And boy have I been called! Since Friday I think I've had about 7hours sleep (now monday). Looking very much forward to next weekend and am asking my boss if I can have the monday off so I can have a long weekend with the family and not have to run home early on the Sunday to recoup for work. Fingers crossed.
The other thing thats getting to me is the water - looks like great days for being out there. Good luck.
Any fishing is good fishing(should probably say Any fishing is...probably going to be illegal soon)
Didn't do so great at croc only got 2 cod and a reddy and they all went back. Only fliching lures though.
