When the Rain stops !!

gaday all
just sittin here enjoying the fire place, ( work canned due to lack of interest ) and it was raining and cold. and i can think of excusses all morning.
But.
what is the fishing going to be like when this rain and wind finaly blow themselves out.
we needed the rain so no complaints here , accept its getting hard to find dry firewood
i think the rivers will be a hard place to fish for a few day after. same with the dams if they get any water in them. so maybe the offshore area is the Go??
anyone got some ideas on where they are going to fish after this wet stuff dries??

According to my diary entries about Mangrove Jacks, they seem to come on the chew after a bit of wet. But thats up north, not too sure what it means in your area.

The recent spot of wild weather does not worry me in the least, mainly because I'm working this weekend. However, if it all settles down by next weekend, I'm hoping to get offshore and put a small dent in the Snapper population; they seem to go a bit harder after a period of shocking weather. I think I'll let the Bay flush itself out for a while though; it usually takes a bit for the fresh water and floating debris to be cleaned up (depending on the amount of rain, of course). Still, once it all comes good (and it will!), fishing generally should be all the better for it.

rising barromater and little wind should be fine
offshore next weekend
