    Offshore GC Sunday

    Hey all,

Heres the forecast for the next few as at tonight.

Southeast Coast Waters, Double Island Point to Coolangatta:
Friday until midnight: Variable 10 knots, with seas to 1.5 metres. E/NE swells to 2.5 metres abating. Scattered showers.
Saturday: SW/S winds 10/15 knots, tending E/NE 10/15 knots offshore. Seas to 1.2 metres, on an abating 2 metre NE/E swell. Scattered showers clearing late morning.
    Sunday: S/SE winds 15/20 knots.
    Monday: SE winds 20/25 knots.

Will take advantage of my first Sunday off for a long time, and try offshore 24s or 36s Gold Coast on Sunday early morning to get back in time for the V8's, as long as the wind holds off.

Anyone else heading out? Maybe we could get a couple of boats heading out?

May have room for a deckie, so if your available, pm me and ill get back to you if the option is available.

    Regards

    Darren

    Re: Offshore GC Sunday

    Hey,

If im successful I will definately post a report!!

Hopefully the swell has backed off enough to not have me burleying over the side!

Here's hoping the forecast doesn't get any worse also.

Didnt think you'd work a Sunday in your line of work Garry. The things we do for a buck! (I'll drop by your work on the way in to show you the catch! )

    Regards

Looks even better than before, so its definately on.

Hopefully theres not too much fresh offshore.

Thanks to the guys who PM'd, boat is now full. Will remember for next time.

    Will post results.

    Regards

    Darren
