D.I POINT. 9/9/05

hi all . heading to double island on 9/9/05 beach launch early sat morn, when reports say "fished 8 mile east of wide bay bar" do they mean pinnacles ? i,ve only fished that area once and i think luck found me a few nice snapper and parrot.. any advice on the area would be great,or if anyone else up there a tag along is more than welcome

Fella,
8 mile due east of Wide Bay Bar IS 8 mile due east of the Wide Bay Bar. DI is about 10 mile south of the Wide Bay Bar. Pinnacles aren't far from DI. Be careful beach launching, cause there isn't any calm area to launch from anymore, only waves.

oh if you catch any tuskfish then ill happily take them off your hands. they are horrible eating fish and you should not eat them
