    Barwons 1 October

I'm planning a trip out to the Barwon Banks tomorrow leaving Mooloolaba at about 3:30 am. It will be my first trip out of Mooloolaba so I am not that familliar with the ramps up that way. I would appreciate any advice regarding the best one to use if coming from Brisbane northside.

Also, I am planning to start towards the southern end of the banks and work my way north through the day. Does this sound like a good plan or should can anyone suggest another starting point?

I will be on VHF 21 if anyone else is out that way. Call sign is "Diamonds".

    Cheers

I will be leaving from the mooloolaba ramp next to the coastguard (on the north side of the river) about the same time as you. May be 1/2 hour later. 535 centre console trailcraft. The weather looks exceptional at the moment. We will be starting towards the central/northern end and will give you a call on 21 once out. My call sign is "Lotzalip". I am not a pro and have only been out to Barwon twice, but have caught good fish both times so will be interested to keep in touch on the water.
