Am going to spend a week at Orchid beach with some friends week after next, but none of us has fished any of the offshore reef there before. I have read a few reports with useful advice on the launch at Waddy, but no mention of the fishing on the west side off Wathumba creek. I know the road is not so hot between Orchid and Wathumba, but what of the fishing ?. Can anyone give me some advice on this Wathumba creek offshore area re launch difficulty, weather conditions which allow fishing etc? Thanks
