I am Leaving for Lucinda in about an hour!!!!!!!!

We are taking up the Sportfish so if the weather decides to be kind we will shoot outside, if not the channel it is.

If you have seen a kid on xmas morning looking at tree full of presents then you know how I look right

Taking the camera will share with you all on thursday when we get home.

I'm back,

Have you guys seen the Hinchinbrook?? It's beautiful and that jetty goes forever, the pub has really nice meals and cold beer.............what did you say fishing???

Oh yes fishing, we only caught one legal fish and to add insult to injury we caught it in the crab pot!!!!

We tolled the jetty and the channel, we flicked lures and plastics and we used bait of all discriptions.

The last day we were there we fished the bluff just before sunup and got onto a heap of sweetlip, light gear great fun but nothing worth jumping up and down about.

Oh and one more thing we fished for hours on the first day with nothing to show for it. My four year decide she wanted to try her "barbie rod" (a little pink shimano outfit) she baited her own hook, dropped her bait all the way to the bottom and caught the first fish of the trip!!!!! If I knew how I would post a pic.


Anyway christmas day we are going out to rattlesnake and the surrounding island to give that ago.

OMG Al!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our daughter (aka The Boss) has the same "barbie rod", and without fail has always caught the first fish of the day, everytime!!!!!!!

You know Juicy I have looked at that rod sometimes with lust in my eyes............Then given myself a sharp uppercut!!!

The little buggers do always get the first fish!!!!!

Oh to be young again.

Hey if you guys ever come up this way maybe we could get the little cherubs together for a fish date (or in other ppls terms play date! )

Ps back is on the mend, threw away all the drugs doc gave me and I am useing glucosumine and magnetics. beeen out in the boat by myself twice in the last week (must be getting better!)
