Oh it worked alright.... when he pulled the boat out of the shed on Saturday there were HUNDREDS of them crawling around on top of the carpet looking for somewhere else to hide! >

The wood was in the boat about 12 hours maximum, on a few different occasions.
Next step is an inspection by a mate who has worked in the pest industry. If they are a particular breed of termite the boat will have to be wrapped and fumigated before any further work takes place.
It's getting better all the time ;-)

Looks like Team Madman is out. I have a mate with a small tinnie who lives on Russell Island who wants to catch up on that day. Myself and WOOF and maybe a few other Ausfishers will be heading to Peel for a BBQ.
Dont want to rain on the Tangas parade but if the weather is no good and Peel is an option I will be leaving from the Manly / Wynnum circa 0630 - 0700. I am taking the BBQ so anyone considering the trip is more than welcome to make use of this facility.
Hopefully I will see some of you at the ramp.
