cod hole

what info can anyone give me on the cod hole in maroochy river. never fished there. just heard about it through a mate who knows no more than me. it is worth trying? where do u put in? what will i be chasing? any crabs? was thinking of going up this friday night. will the little bities get me?

theres a great ramp right there on bradman av. there are pleanty of bities if u get up in the mangroves and there are crabs i would think up in the mangroved areas. It gets pretty heavily hit, but u could try some plastics around the bridge pylons for jew/bream etc
