    Mackeral chasing out from Bribie

    Plan on heading out from Bribie passage early Sunday morning to chase the schoolie mackeral that I am told are about...heres hoping the weather holds calm until mid morning so I can cast a few slugs around...

    You won't be alone JA. Got a couple of boats planing a northern bay attack sunday as well. Ears will b on VHF 20 if u like a chat.

    We will be in a white quintrex dory with a 30 yami on the back - give us a yell if you see us there. I will be putting in at Bongaree about 4:30am.

    Have you heard of any reports...?

    No mail JA. Have been picking up schoolies regularly but would like to see some spots.
    We will b in a 20 foot pride cuddy heading out about 5.00am. Keep an eye out 4 ya. Good luck

    We did no good - got drenched by the rain, droped two small mac tuna, saw a few longtails but they were pretty spooked. Didn't see any mackeral.
