G'day bay_firey, there are about 8 acres of camping grounds on the beach at Seaforth, 2 shops (1 with a grog shop) and 1 bowling club.
As you come into town, take the second left, then first right, and check at the post office (Caroline)

I will be travelling up to Mackay from Rocky that weekend for holidays, staying with in-laws at mackay. I would like to attend.

Just a question or two. I only landed in sunny QLD (995 low centred off Caloundra) a month or so ago, and only landed at AusFishing yeterday so forgive me if I appear to bew a bit green.

But what's a M&G? Whats a pm?, I'm guessing its a personal message, but why then would that only be available to Bronze members? I'm only a rusty hook member right now, but that wont be for long as I have had a wonderful time reading everyone elses posts so far, and I feel I could contribute and participate quite a bit.

I really look foward to going on one of the getaways such as this, and meeting some of you guys, but right now is hard because of the fact we are still settling in, starting a new business and were broke (for now).

I am sooooo looking foward to getting back into saltwater fishing, as I have been inland (Bathurst) now for ten years. I never caught much except Redfin and the occasional scaled eel (tiger snake) in the Macquarie.

It has been a long time between drinks for a bloke who once owned a bait & tackle shop with hire boats etc. The winging public I missed, but the fish and stories I didn't. So when the missus said "Let's move to QLD", I didn't even answer her, I just started packing & put the house on the market in a heart beat. I pinched myself a couple of times, but here we are, and I ain't moving any time soon.

I really love your site and as I have always said "Second only to catching a fish yourself, is hearing about someone else who did". Add a few tinnies to the story, and you might as well say you helped with the landing net
