    Quickie off Coff's this arvo

Hoping to get out for a few hours this afternoon.

Will have to assemble new bits 'n pieces for the new anchor before I go.

I lost my old anchor, plus the chain, fishing the wreck off 1770 last month.......I know Phill, you warned me!

Anyway, with a bit of luck I will snag a few squire and maybe a bigger version later today.

    GO THE CRUISER UTES!

    ....OH WHAT A FEELING!

bugger of a thing them reefs and anchors Roz
Was pulling my anchor last weekend and got my prop tangle in a stray rope (was only idling) untangle the rope and pulled it in to find someones anchor and chain attached, strange thing was it would have been exposed at low tide and was csitting on sand, the rope had been cut.
    Hope ya catch a feed
    cheers

    Hi there Blaze & Jason,

My sounder $hit it's self, so it was a non event....I went anyway, but didn't do any good, that particular inshore reef that I fish from time to time, can produce some big coffs harbour snapper, but unfortunately you have to put the effort into the details and I couldn't.

I am now in the market for a new sounder, although I certainly can't complain about the old one, it has lasted almost 20 years. I think the problem may be in the transducer, even if it can be fixed, I think it is about time I up dated.

anyway, I am lucky the freezer still has a good quantity of 1770 seafood.

    Blaze,

    Lucky for you!!

I've just had to spend almost $40 to replace my old anchor (reef).

I don't think I have ever seen 12+ metre seas, would be amazing to look at. We have predictions down here for 6 metre swells beginning this evening, I did noticed the swell pick up quite a bit in the last hour I was out.

    Jason,

You will have to wait until next time.

How is the new boat? Have you been out lately?

    cheers roz
