Anyone know of any boat hire places at Pinkenba? A fishing friend wants to fish the sunken wall region but would like to hire a boat to get out there. He would like to know of one hiring out boats that is self driven with a 6hp as he does not have a licence - preferably a 4 metre boat.

It has been a while but my Dad used to take me for a few hours in a hire tinny from Pinkenba Boat Ramp... There is a shop there and he has some tinnys that he hires out... As I said it was a while ago - perhaps 10 years ago... so I am not sure on rates etc..
I am sure if you did a search on yahoo or similar or looked under boat hire in the phone directory you would find 'em... Perhaps someone else can be of more help???

you can walk to the sunken wall from Pinkenba, and fish off the wall if a boat cannot be commandeered
