    Four Beacons

Has anyone fished the four beacons of late?

I have not been there for perhaps 2 years - my brother in law took me and we were chasing mackeral but caught a cobia instead lol..

I am thinking of heading over if the weather is right on Sunday.

What ramp would you reccomend? We live South side, but I would rather trailer the boat further and have a short run on the water if things got ugly in a 4.5m side console.

    Thanks everyone,

    Brad.

Oh just woke up and checked the BOM today... it looks Ok with SE winds 10/15 knts seas to 1m in open parts of bay and DECREASING to 0.7m with winds easing and changing to Southerly!!! My house mate just called me on his way home froom work and he is keen - so we are off to Mud for a spare of the moment trip! Report back later if successful...

    UPDATE :

    Just got home...

Mud was nice the morning but roughed up by lunch time.. Plenty of undersized squire around..

Managed a chopper tailor and a spotted mackeral trolling a small teaser which was fun...

Not much else around hence not bothering notation in reports section.

    Sunburnt Brad.
