I recently bought a boat and have been doing some trips based around Cairns over the past month or so. I am only in town on the weekends which I like to spend river fishing during rough weather. There is the odd time where my usual decky has been unavailable as he has occassional weekend committments with the band he plays in. I like doing decent sessions that last for most of a day or night. If you are located in Cairns, keen, and available on weekends let me know by PM if you'd like to join me sometime. Would obviously prefer to fish with someone who has some local knowledge. The waterways I fish include the Barron River, Trinity Inlet and the Russell river. Initially it would be only the odd trip then maybe more later in the year.
