I wonder how many boats are going to be out this weekend? I reckon there will be more boats out than cars as we finally have some low winds this Saturday. I just picked up my 2352 trophy and will be out at the banks. Any won else going?

Ease up fellows don't stampede me with your replies, i even reckon the wives will be replying as there probably sick of us being at home and can't wait to see us get out again. At least it gave me! some time to mow the jungle and to get the rest of the yearly jobs done.

Gale warning north of Double sland, strong wind warning south of Double island...... thats for today anyway, will iot drop right away by weekend? Coastwatch is currently predicting 10-15 for friday, but nothing on their board a syet for saturday...please please pelase be right........ boat is al fuelled new line on all rods....... everything on boat ready.....even got a new epirb for her......so now I cango offshore FINALLY .................. SAYONARA SATURDAY...... off shore from moreton island, maybe tempest and Western Rocks. Also want to find this fabled place out there called the Wall.......

At the moment Keen as, Saturday looks like a goer but i made the mistake last week with jumping the gun a little early and as soon as it hit Friday the weather turned crap. I couldnt hold out any longer for a fish so i ended up throwing a line in the Pine and got a few flatty's. As Marlin_Mike say's, i hope the weather stays on our side for Saturday too

I'll be out from Yeppoon Sat and Sun, looks like it could still be a bit uncomfortable on Saturday for a bit, but Sunday is looking the goods.

Big change just come through here in townsville, how long will it last this time!!! Looking at the charts on the bom site it appears that it will remain unstable for sometime.

I've been invited over to maggie island, so I might take the longboat over. Only 8Km, though 20-25 knts it will save the ferry fare, maybe, because a raincoat and chew some fuel.
