Offshore Goldy Saturday??
THINKING of heading Offshore from the Goldy on Saturday Morning, to 18s and possibly 24s... Seabreeze is showing less than 5knots (although northerly) in the morning. Is anyone else heading out? and if so what are your thoughts re the weather - I'm still a bit new to offshore so dont want to risk the petrol if it blows up and I have to come in to avoid the accidental burley situation.
If its going to be OK going out - should we target pelagics or reefies - your thoughts?

Re: Offshore Goldy Saturday??
I am planning a trip over to Cape Moreton saturday. But the more I look the more it looks like a stay at home day.
Doesnt look so good at the moment. 10 - 15 NW/NE on coastwatch.
I wont make a call till friday night myself.

Re: Offshore Goldy Saturday??
Did someone say burley boy was organising a M&G at his "spotX". Count me in.
Adam, tomorrow looks good if you don't mind the northerlies. I'd be setting up for a burley session anchored on the 24s. Targeting snapper and cobia. Have a slug stick rigged up for the tuna as they are about. However, you could chase them all day.
