    no mate not for me, i have a keen fisher friend that would like to tag along ( pay his way fuel bait ) i would like to take him but i have 3 in the boat as it is

    anyone else have room for one more???
    if he does come along, he can camp in our cabin

    Well I hope the weather improves by the weekend.My cousin and will be staying in cabin 12 I'm told.See you there.My computer has to go in the shop on friday so I'll be of line for a week or 2.

    As I was unable to go due to work, I was hoping you boys would do a bit of a report , tell us how it was and maybe some photos.

    was a great W/E, not many fish taken home thou
    M/D caught the prize fish 22-25kg spanish mac

    we landed a few sweetlip
    dropped 2 macs
    landed a 6 - 8kg mother in law
    a few small queenies and a heap of small cod


    saturday the weather was good
    but as for sunday it came up 15 -20 kts with a bit of a swell and heaps of rain


    M/D great to meet you guys ( have to do it again )
    thanx heaps for cooking us boys a great feed of mac on saturday night

    what happened to you guys on sunday?
    did you get out on the water?

    thanx again M/D for organising a great W/E

    We didn't head back out sunday,By the time we had breky and cleaned up the cabin we didn't think it was worth it.We didn't get up as early as you did I think.I put a report in offshore.

    Yeah, I would also be keen on M&G around Xmas - Was thinking of staying at the van park at Lucinda or maybe Mission Beach for a few days.

    Sounds like a plan, was thinking Lucinda might be the best option. If it's blowy we can fish the channel and if weather permits we can fish the reef or the palms. But am open to suggestions??
    What about dates? Any ideas?
