M D this is a 2 day M/G is that right? if so, Hinchinbrook is fine as long there is some good camping areas about, i thought it was a 1 day M/G, as long as i can camp near the boat/gear all is well

I'll be in - fingers crossed. Minister of war and finance has last call on that one.
I like the idea of Cardwell. Last M&G we had there the fish didn't turn up except for a famous mother in law. We stayed at beachcombers who looked after us very well. I don't really care too much for food fish (be nice to get some this time though) the fishing is where the attraction is thus I'll have a big collection of poppers ready for the GTs this time. Closer to the date, I'll probably have a spot or two on board but for now will just concentrate on getting leave pass for myself. Might have to use the suggestion of a fathers day gift (if september)? Fingers crossed.
Any fishing is good fishing (should probably say Any fishing is...probably going to be illegal soon)

    Re: N.Q meet and greet

Just found this post, depending on when family are threatening to visit I might bring the tinny down with a mate for a creek fish around Hinchinbrook. I liked Beachcomber on the 1st M&G, easygoing with 4 grades of accomodation.

    cheers fnq
