OK,, closed season is from Oct 5 - 13. And school hols from 22 sept to 7th Oct.

Looks like an M & G to start on the Sat 13th until Sunday 21st.

That is a 9 day event, giving everyone an opportunity to get offshore. Surely the wind can't blow for 9 days straight !!!!

Although one cannot keep certain CRFF species, there is always the opportunity to fish for Mackerel on the Saturday arvo.

Must make a flyer to post to everyone with regard to activities in case of bad weather.

This will have ph numbers and a list of days events , places, etc. Keep those ideas coming in.

PBA would most likely pick the same week to avoid the closures and school holidays. Probably would not be the whole 9 days.

New moon is Oct 11 so total opposite of this year which was full on Oct 7. Usually the weather is better around new moon.

Who is bringing the spare anchor for Newby?

So at this stage, I am in too.

wont need a spare anchor as I have one already. It is in 40mtrs of water about 2 miles off Fitzroy. >
Maybe I will get it back one day.
