Hmmmm, not a lot to report guys.
We left Bribie and head out North East well clear of Moreton to an area with a fair drop off, drifted the ledge for little or no interest and not much on the sounder.
Stayed for a while then head to a Cal Wide mark but once again only bringing up small stuff and undersize Reds.
We then did a run over to the Jodi wreck and sat on top of that for a couple of hours pulling pearlies but nothing of great size.
Head back to Bribie around 2pm for a BBQ and catch up with the others that attended.
First time out that way for me, gee the swell can stand tall across some of those sand flats when the tide is running the other way. We were heading out at about 24 - 26 knots and we got the old girl clear out of the water a couple of times with the motor giving a free water rev.
Dale,
Your ears must have been burning because I was going to ring you but haven't got your number, please send via PM and Brians too if you have it.

Hi Mr Bean
At least you got some nice pearlies by the sound of it.
Just curious about where is the "Jodi Wreck"? Familiar with your course details to Wide Cal etc, and agree, it can stand up out there wind against tide on the Wild Banks when crossing from Bribie.
Thanks and Cheers,
