    landbased GC fishing help.

Hi guy's, not looking for your private hot spots or anything , but am going to be staying at Miami for a week{15th-22nd}, and will be trying out some SP's for the first time. Probably try and target flatties and bream,or what ever else will bite, and was wondering where to try, reasonably close to where we will be staying. As I said before, dont want your own hot spots, just somewhere I can catch some fish, and hopefully get addicted to this so-called SP craze . CHEERS woody. PS, staying at Marina Shores, Miami.

Woody, try the weir at bond uni, its off bermuda street opposite clive peters. Haven't had much luck there yet myself but only been a couple oftimes. Careful of snags though. Apart from that, get a street directory and look for any bridges near a coupleof canal entrances, should do ok for flatties.

Can't help much more than that as I normally fish around coomera.

    Good luck and good holiday.

Bond uni is good but only at certain times like 1-2 hrs after high tide. Also try under any bridges on Sunshine bvd or Rio Vista Bvd around Broadbeach or Mermaid Waters. Theres plenty of parks with public access, just check a street directory. Expect bream, flattys, trevors and the odd jack. These are pretty well known spots. Take us some pics!!

Youll probably get more responses in the saltwater section.
