    1770 Just after Xmas

    Hi All,

I'm making my second sorte of the year to 1770, after the disappointment of the M&G in October...as you may know, it blew & blew & blew some more. The disappointment was slightly tempered by the amount of beer consumed while cursing the weather gods, and the excellent company.

Anyway I'm up for a week from 27th, staying in Agnes and likely to have a spot onboard the boat if anyone fancies deckying (especially if you know the area), or even just to grab a beer.

Flick me a PM if you want to catch up.

Tony/Sandi - I'll definitely be stopping by the shop, and hope you're around but not having to work TOO hard.

    Good luck,
    Mike

Hope the weather plays the game for you Mike.

You can never pick it up there, although we have had some terrific weather up there and it certainly makes all the difference.

Best of luck and will keep an eye out for your report.

    Cheers

    Oh well.

    It blew. Again.

Put the boat in once into the estuary. Wife was too scared to go outside, so that was that. Caught one bream, about 27cm. The little bloke got loads of hits from pickers so that kept him interested for a little while. Used 3.5 litres of fuel the whole trip after carting 130l there and (mostly) back. Had a session on the rocks in the late afternoon one day at Agnes for zip. I *think* I saw a chopper having a surf from there, but no-one else caught anything either. Stopped in to Tony/Sandi's twice; once for bait, the other for a stubby holder and weather report

That's about as comprehensive as I can get Roz. No pics required as no BS opportunities presented themselves

I have to say we still managed to have an absolute ball, and the wife and kid have also fallen in the love with the place. So much so, that we booked for 10 days next year on the way out.

    Wish me luck,
    Mike
