Here's yours truly with 47cm of King George Whiting taken just outside Port Phillip Heads recently.

Nice whiting slates, typical southern weather too how do they rate eating wise compared to sand whiting.

Went like poop off a shovel!
My mate has actually taken them to 55cm and 1.3kg~!

They're a fair way in front of sand whiting I reckon, but it's so hard to compare eating qualities unless you have them on the same plate side by side - for me anyway
