Geez Kris, what's it take for you to crack a grin?
Good one.
Cheers,
Jeff
Beautiful!
Mack have you ever managed to get any of them up this way?
The turn up out wide from time to time, but are hard to target around here. There was one nice one caught from the rocks at the catwalk about november.
Tony
Tony, they are a fish that likes the warm waters with good constant current, that means outside the reef up there far away from where most fish, around here in summer the current is constant once past 50m and even better in 100m, they rarely are caught closer, that one at the catwalk must of been really lost, never done any fishing that far out of 1770 myself.
Rob
Jeff, a mackerel would have got a grin out of me today, hard day at the office!
heres a grin for ya but. winter 2003, also caught with mackmauler.

Yeah Rob
That one at the catwalk was a one-of never heard of any others in that close.
Someone suggested it might have been hanging with a big patch of floating weed or something.
Regards Tony
This dolphin was caught off the cotton reefs this morning, put on a brilliant arial display
these things have so much colour varience as they are caught no pic can do them justice, as good as it might look.
Nice fish
looks like a nice bull, did it crack the metre?
yeah Kris, it was not fitting to well in the eva kool, was between 120-125cm, jumped off 2 blacks same area today, both around 30kg, had one close to the boat and was not looking forward to taking the trace, it was crazy!
Rob, Take Steve Irwin's kid out with ya tomorrow as a deckie, he should be able to help you out ... he's learnt all about crocs.Originally Posted by mackmauler
