    I think it is a Mudskipper as a few have mentioned. I have tried looking it up in my hundreds of fish books but no luck. Just guess ill call it "one of them"
    Made for a interesting photo though! used the macro setting for that pic. the actuall full resolution has so much fine details but was too large to post here as it was way over a meg.

    Top stuff Set. Some great captures there, even better land based. Must have been alot of fun. What line class was the 8.3 kg queenfish on?

    the queeny was on 6kg line (well actually 4kg but i put it in for the 6kg aust rec) Went to alot of trouble to get it weighed in darwin and cost me a fortune in taxi fare trying to find registered scales. Caught a 8.6 on the last day of my trip and just couldnt be bothered going to all the trouble of weighing it. They dont even have butchers up there!!! finally found the scales at a fish market.
