I once had two lobsters in a tank they lasted for 3 weeks. they both were doing fine untill my brother inlaw stayed for a week as I was on the arvo shift and he replaced them with toy plastic ones.his excuse was they kept him awake at nite splashing around [smiley=angryfire.gif]
Just a thought Dev. Painted crays are naturally mollusc eaters. It might help to chuck in a mussel, cockel or the like every now and then to keep his nutrition a bit more natural.
