    37cm whiting caught in the maroochy by my wife. 6lb mono, 8ft 1-3kg uglystick and live sandworm on #4 longshank with 00 sinker

    Nice fish Landlubber's wife!

    37cm is a good fish and nicely pinned in the mouth. That would be my exact choice of rig but would probably have a bit of red tubing above the hook and about a 50cm+ trace.

    Bloody hell nice fish. At my secret spot we catch them all the time but none that big unfortunately the biggest we have got is bout 31cm
