Az, "Notice to Mariners" can reveal information regarding the bay. A beacon was demolished by the tangalooma ferry (If my memory serves me). It was supposedly removed and replaced but if you sound around you will find some structure close to one of the coffee pots which I assume is part of the old beacon. Other than telling you the exact location this should help.

Lovely mate. I'd been told the big ones were crap but we had no probs other than it was a bit greasy around the stomach fillets. Apparently, if you wear your pyjamas when you fillet 'em, they taste better
