We can see that your young bloke has a good teacher brrbear, fantastic fish & on a comp day as well, can it get any better.

I didn't get a photo of my best but it was a 2 metre cobia that we estimated 60kg but it snapped off on the surface.

Thats a great fish, are the estuary cod as good eating as the other cod species?? ( we cant keep 'em in NSW )

Muzz, Very good when smaller but really coarse at this size. Wouldn't keep another this size. Cheers.

but awesome to see cod like that from the area.. always hear about it but thats the first I have seen around that size
