To make it easier to browse this forum I would like to ask everyone to start putting the date of their fishing trip into the subject title?
Just a thought.

Yes I agree. That would be a good way to identify if you have previously read that report.
Would make it easy
Would you like fries with that Mick? Nahh, just kiddin, good idea mate.
Why not modify the forum so it displays the date the topic was started?
I'll do it, just give me the source code
Umm excuse me Mr. Ausfish

Interesting idea. It tends to make it all look a bit cluttered.
I have never been lost or confused as to what I read and when.
Its not rocket science. It is a chat site.
But well done all the same Steve for giving the public what they want. I sincerly mean that. We all love the site due to its ability to adapt and change.

p.s. what has this got to do with a fishing report?
I'm with you Alex. It does make things messy looking.
I can see the point for the Fishing Reports area as the currency of the report helps you decide if you are going ot read it or not, but in the other forums the original date doesn't really matter ... it is more about the subject than the date in those forums.
A bit of fine tuning might help .... If you dropped the time and only displayed the date, at least it would not expand the thread to 3 lines long rather than 2.
Cheers,
Mark

Only the date will display with the Membername in the Strated by colum. Unless it was started Today or Yesterday, if that is the case it will show as
Today at 8:34am
or
YOu may need to go into your profile and make sure the Time Format: is set to "Jan 31st, 2001, 1:15pm"
