What happened to the "Mad Mongrel" post?
Can a moderator shed some light on what happened to the "Mad Mongrel" post early this morning. I did not agree with his point of view however was quite enjoying the basting he was receiving from Ausfish members. Just curious

I can tell you they took it off. Some people can't handle a bit of a tall story, they always evoke a bit of an argument thats why their funny. Or maybe they just didn't want the secret of the new turtle shell drug to get out. hahaha. Its scary that some people are so gullible.

MM,
this is a fishing website, and a darn good one at that.
If you want to Sh#tstir then I suggest you look elsewhere. We don't need idiots like you taking up bandwidth.
Go fishing or get a job and earn some cash for a bigger boat over the holiday break.

I didn't see the post being discussed, so have no idea if it was defamatory or obscene, however if it was neither I find it hard to fathom why it was deleted. If it was just plain stupid that hardly rates deletion, as plenty of posts on here have been just that, eg ppl giving themselves a quick spit and polish over the number of posts they've put up, or ridiculous posts about nothing in general. It seems to me that open discussion, freedom of speech etc are fine until a net-nazi gets their panties in a bunch about something.
