Took the young fella down to Tin Can Bay yesterday and managed to catch oursleves a nice cod. First time I've caught one worthy of posting a pic on here and can't bloody do it!
Pics were taken on a mobile phone and I managed to email them to my PC easily enough. Now I want to save them and open them in another application they just come back as an unrecognised file format even if I save them as a jpeg image.
Love to share them with you as the boy was grinning like the cheshire cat any advice? Have I missed something obvious?

I've had the same problem.

I think from memory I opened them with windows Paint or Imaging(can't remember which), then saved them as .jpg.

This allows you to then open them in your favoured application.

If this doesn't work, you may want to try a post in the HELP section, as this thread will surley be moved.

Try downloading irfanview (free)
It's a program for resizing pics and is easy to use after the first time
The help section at Ausfish (here) has details on how to.
