Hi guys,
Iboats regularly has problems from Australia. It's something to do with them blocking something to stop scammers, and unfortunately we get cut off too.
It usually takes a couple of weeks for it to come back up again.
It works fine for the US, so they are never in a hurry to fix the problem.
Regards
Darren
Might be dependent on the ISP you use as they may be blocking certian IP addresses.
Hoges and Brian are in the 202 to 220 range so they may be blocking above 200.xxx.xxx.xxx.
Connection Interrupted
The document contains no data.
The network link was interrupted while negotiating a connection. Please try again.
Same thing with me also. Been trying for quite a while. cheers gazza
been a member of Iboats for many years and never had a problem ever!
Cheers Noelm, I am a member also but have been inactive for about 12 months. I am unable to get the forum to open and tried by using many links from Google. I also emailed them over two weeks ago from a link that someone posted and have not received a reply. Even scanned the computer to make sure I was not carrying any cookies etc. Regards and thanks for letting me know it is still running.
Yeah I've been having the same problem for a while now-bloody annoying trying different settings etc.Could open up a site selling merchandise though!
Just contacted my ISP to see if they can help...hopefull...
Darren
Regular problem. They block certain IP ranges because of SPAM. Optus seems to suffer the most from it.
You could try a proxy access website to get to it... like www.liveoxy.com
Jus' jim dandy when I tried it.
Thanks for the info, must learn some more about this to avoid future problems. My service provider (who are usually very very good, couldn't work it out and thought that the site may have been under maintenace blah blahh).
Regards,Darren
