    They most likely have a block on outside domains accessing the file.

    Some free web host do this to save band width. If you open a new window and just paste the url in it will work. But if it is called fro from ausfish it will get blocked.

    Probably best to use your free server space with your ISP or find another free host.

    But in profiles i dont have anything that says upload my own avatar

    As long as the pic is on the net somewhere you can link to it.

    You can use Image Shack to store your pic if you like.

    Okay Steve tried and all i managed to do was get rid of my present avatar ..yeah, yeah i know "Thick"..
    Maybe you can add this little fella to my avatar if you dont mind ..
