Well done to everybody that showed up, lets hope it makes a big difference, i no one thing the bloody traffic was bad in the city, bloody boats every where, well done again guys. But lets not foget that the fight has just began.

There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.

Good afternoon Mr Beattie,
We are just writing to support today's (Sat 2nd Sep 06) Morton Bay closures protest convoy that drove through the city. We were unable to attend but want to add our support to the to the Morton Bay Access Alliance. We do not want to see Morton Bay closed in anyway to fishing. Not only would this affect recreational fishermen and families but also charter operators and professional fishermen. It would also hit the economy hard in the fact that if people can't fish in Morton Bay then the sale of fishing tackle and boating equipment and all other associated costs (fuel and food) would also be effected and as such put people in the fishing/boating industry out of work.
If there must be closures in Morton Bay please consult with Bay users - recreational fishermen, professional fishermen, charter operators and base any closures on science and not scare mongering by the Greens.

Ch7 filmed her performing and shouting STAY AWAY FROM OUR BAY! with her arms waving,
and they didint show it, would have made the greatest impact statment of the day!

We were the lead up boat they showed on 7 and the last boat showed on 9, time you changed your name C Drive - Everyone will want to fish and bag out with you!
