    Offshore  Fishing Closures Looming

How many of you guys know that the Moreton Bay proposed closures take in a hell of a lot of offshore area's with it?
The deals are being done to see these closures happen and we need EVERYONE TO HELP THE FIGHT!!
Read the news section for further info on it all.
    Hope I got some attention.

    Cheers Col

If you are fishing in Australia or any part of the world you can do it with quality fishing tackle from Australia.

Thats where the problem lies Col, most of the offshore brigades think i dont fish the bay, so be stuffed if i'm going to help them out >, we'll just keep going to the Carpark at the Barwons and fill the eskies.
Boy are they in for a rude shock, when some offshore waters are put up for green zones, thats alrite they'll say we have everyone behind us, be stuffed you will, if you cannot support our cause and fight, and if by chance we lose, with no support from you and there are plenty out there that couldnt give a stuff aboutr the bay, well sorry to say we wont give a stuff about your favorite offshore water either.
                regards

I reckon that you could catch billies, wahoo, tuna, mackies, kingies and a few other species in that area ........

                          Re: Offshore  Fishing Closures Looming

They have had their eye on Hutchies/Trench for quite some time now. They (greenies/conservationists) were very dissappointed they missed out on Gotham in the last GNS closures. Goodbye shallow reefs if we dont stand up and be counted but I somehow dissappointedly believe this is all a done deal if Labour get re-elected.

Have a look at what is happening in NSW at Narooma - same stuff. You will get an opportunity to have your say ra ra ra but they just go and take 20% there which effectively shut out 60% of fishing areas. I have had a gutful of these greenies. And while I am taking pot shots I bet our pro-diving friends are voting labour all the way. I just hope they will have to pay through the nose to access these green zones. > > > > > > >

Make your vote count and send Beattie a message by distributing preferences - dont just vote 1

I only hope they are kind with trolling in the buffer zones

Yeh your right on the mark Webby. I had a bloke at the boatshow think that because he fished the Coomera River all of this wasn't his problem
