    Help protect your fishing rights

Help protect your fishing rights and rub shoulders with our Fishing celebs???

Join fishing celebrities Leeann Payne and Brian Web (Webby) who are lending their support to Shane Boese, handing out how to vote cards for the Fishing Party on election day. Both Leeann and Webby are passionate bay fishos and and are fighting for your right of access to fish the bay, not only now but for generations to come.

Brian and Leeann will be spending the morning helping the fishing party and will be happy to say hello and spend time with bay fishos - particularly those who reside in the Cleveland electorate. So if you have a couple of hours to spare please join Brian and Leeann in this worthy cause. We cant guarantee you'll be on the same booth - but all helpers and supporters are invited to the after election party (venue to be advised).

If you can offer a couple of hours then please either reply to this post or pm Mitch (Redspeckle http://www.ausfish.com.au/forum/YaBB...ame=redspeckle ) who is organising the booths.

We are currently about 20 booth workers short so if you can lend a hand, even for just a couple of hours Shane, the Fishing Party and Moreton Bay will really appreciate it. We are fighting for your rights to fish, so join the fight knowing that you have done your bit.

So come down and join Leeann and Webby and help protect your fishing rights.

Re: Help protect your fishing rights

Seems like the cat is out, Yes Leanne [smiley=thumbsup.gif] and myself [smiley=thumbsdown.gif] will be venturing down to Cleveland High School on Saturday to HELP a Worthy Cause.
Where way out of our own electoral boundaries, but seeing as Shane is the only Fishing Party Rep in the whole of SEQ he needs your Help.
So if there are any Patriot's ???? out there who can spend 2-3 hours Saturday giving a hand, your blood is worth bottleing.
You wont get paid big dollars, but you will hopefully be paid in the future, by being allowed to fish Moreton Bay with your off spring in the years to come.
So surely there's a few of you out there that can help, and if by chance you do turn up, you may even be dining that evening on a Seafood Smorgasboard (the only reason im going) .
    regards

    ...... Cleveland State School

Webby and I worked at the Brisbane Boat Show fishing expo workshops and put our hands up then.
I didn't get a chance to participate in the rally on Saturday because of show committments but with Caloundra to the Gold Coast in the Green's sights, MY fishing grounds, I've got to do something. Everything little thing that fishers do now will make it easier in the long run for us to at least have a voice in the management of Moreton Bay.

Look forward to seeing some of you there. I'll ensure Webby behaves himself

Just in case any of you wonder if I'm just a fat mouth... I'll also be at Cleveland (I'll also be bringing one or more of my kids - they love handing out HTVs and are pros at it).... so feel free to come and say g'day or abuse me - whatever's your pleasure... welcome aboard Grandpop... hope to meet a lot of you... love to put faces to names and handles.

Re: Help protect your fishing rights

Put Webby in a pair of back-2-front Lycras ,with a Broncos footy sock in the front/back and Leeann in a bikini...

and they will move Electorates to give a Vote 1 "nod" to the SEQ TFP/Ind Candidate...

Shane to all the RecFishos in Moreton Bay !!

    Every Success
