saw on channel 7 news tonight the doom sayers are now saying the great barrier reef is now doomed to bleaching a likely to die no matter what we do about global warming.

this despite other reports that we have nothing to worry about.

do we worry and try to help fix the problem?

how do we sort the sensationalism/shock jock shite from the real scientific fact.

it seems to depend on who you listen to as to what is really happening in our region as well as the rest of the world.

i don't want to stick my fingers in my ears and yell lalalala.

i think we are damaging our environment and need to pull up our socks, but how much.

in the end i love my fishing and want my kids and their kids to love it too.

This has been the issue and hype for some years now.

I don't think that we can do a great deal about it...

i think the new movie by al gore really sums everything up. i think it's a must for everyone to watch and outlines the real truth behind global warming and it's effects. check it out. it's called "the inconvenient truth" an absolute must watch for everyone i think.
