It seems everybody wants to be a climate change expert. I wonder what the Ausfish members were saying 5 mil years ago in their dark cave sitting around having a 300kg Barra BBQ that had just been speared in the local creek. It was either an ice age or a drought and the population was non existant except dinosaurs were farting and volcanoes erupting. Oil and Coal were being formed.
History shows higher earth temperatures and CO2 on many occasions than exists now and mostly they were followed by ice ages. The earth only needs another axis shift or distance from the sun correction that will make the short term human history intervention a non existant event and something you won't have to worry about. Sea levels have been rising and the Earths surface changing since God was a boy- nothing to do with humans but a lot to cause climate changes.
Enjoy it while you are here because there is not much you can do about it except die. You might be able to minisculely slow the process but you are just part of it, but I do agree that there needs to be a "TAC" on population but which ones. Australia has only 20 million people so is that enough. Imagine the world population if no famine existed, the pill or the condom wasn't invented or religious wars never did or don't happen.
Doomsayers, Prophets and Environmental religion make the worlds crap go around, it's a business.

But you are right about it being big business and its getting out of control. And you also said, the poplulation needs a TAC on it
but which ones.
Well you cant pick or choose who lives and who dies, but in a past post, I said let the death rate over ride the birth rate, and in time the population will come down to a more sustainable level.
But lets go the other way for a moment, and lets all bread to a
level of, lets say, 20 billion people around the world and lets see if your still a happy little vegemite then!
Fishing spots are being shut down because of to many people and dont let them tell you its because of some indangered plant or animal life, the truth is we humans are the ones causing these drastic measures. It seem the problem is just to big for
a handful of good willed men amd woman to come up with a simple answer for it all, but its only my opinion, that is from what I understand, can be the only logical thing we can do within our power.
Mother nature cant be stopped, and because of our human way of thinking, if a globle disaster was too hit us in a big way, millions of people are going to die, And we dont have the resources to help this many. In short, If we dont pull up,
we humans will drain and eat this plant alive.
We will pay for our over development.
