Hi favourite_whiting,
I live in WINNERSland
home of the State of Origin & NRL 2006 trinkets
Qld & NSW do have different regs ,for the same species...
some odd ones are Mangrove Jack..35cms for Q , no min for NSW
NSW can catch Jennies(female muddies) ,we can't.....yet.
Q releases Dusky flatties over 70cms , NSW could keep one?
Ahhhh Qld , perfect oneday ,friggin hot the next
Regards
Gazza
Choppa the fellas you mentioned at DPI has nothing to do with Fisheries, and their the ones that make the decision not DPI.
Dont no where he got the info from but it was'nt from Fisheries, as i stated above somewhere, there will be no new reg's out till the Inshore Finfish Review is finished, then it will take some time before and if any changes do occur.
As for Coral reef and Rocky reef fisheries no changes also.
As for the Crabmac, there are also no changes in the wind, I only left Crabmac around 8 weeks ago and moved over to Inshore Finfish, and at the last meeting of Crabmac, definetly no changes in the wind.
So dont know what rumour this Jason fellas is spreading or instigating.
