hello everybody - been checking out the site last couple of weeks - lots of info been helpful for our awoonga trip recently - not that it did any good - fish were few & far between but had fun just the samehope to learn more & catch more fish next time!
Well the main thing is you tried. I love fishing for the fact you that you never know what to expect. When you get out it may be the worst trip ever but on the other hand it could also be the best day out you have ever had. Welcome to Ausfish and I look forward to seeing your posts of that big day when it happens.

Thanks Poodroo,griz066. The Awoonga trip was'nt a waste of time I caught 74cm fish in the first 10 minutes of throwing lures at snags.Got us all excited but it took nearly 40 hours to land a2nd fish of 75cm. Ive fished Awoonga & Monduran a couple of times before with limited sucess still havent got a metery out of a dam yet.I will keep trying. Anyway Im realy enjoying the information overload from this website.
