i amloking at staying 1770 or agnes waters could anyone tell me best places to stay cvan tent cabins ? also be doing some fishing ! any boat hire ? [smiley=2vrolijk_08.gif]

the best place is the 1770 caravan park right on the water ,no cabins but a good place for caravans and tents got all you need there

I can vouch for the caravan park mentioned by Shane. It has changed a lot in the last 20yrs or so, but it still the pick of accommodation options if you ask me. I am a huge fan of walking 10 steps from the tent to the water.

There is a boat hire place on the estuary, I think it is called 1770 Boat Hire (have to drive past it to get to the caravan park). They do the standard orange v-nose punt and small motor (5 or 6 hp from memory). Not sure of the price - always had my tinny.

For fishing - there are a heap of threads about 1770 fishing on Ausfish.
