    Smokers

I have a stainless steel smoker, and after using it, i was wondering the best way to clean it.

I have heard that putting down a sheet/layer of foil works.

Or is it that they are like woks and you should never clean them?

    Thanks.

    Hey Rosso,

Elbow grease mate...it's the only way. I use steel wool and a bit of wash-up detergent (neat) although no need to be too particular about the part where the sawdust burns. A good trick is to use a bit of that spray on oven cleaner on the grill/bars and that makes it real easy work, although make sure you hose it off well. Oh yeh, if you're at the beach a hand full of sand works wonders as well.

    Keep smokin....

You could try spraying the inside walls & grill with a spray on cooking oil first to create a barrier , should make it easier to clean , !
