Hey there!!
Some friends and I are thinking about going camping over easter/anzac weekend...up the coast around foster,
Does anyone have any suggestions..on a good place to camp??
Somewhere near the beach and has a good place to fish...
I would if possible like to go marlin fishing....mayb...
I dunno if i am strong enough
bugger foster cheeky port macquarie is much nicer
there is a caravan park right next to the beach over the bridge but it may already be booked out
my best bet would be to let your fingers do the walking and ring up as foster gets very busy and often booked out
Well, we went to foster last camping trip and it was pretty good. We are actualy considering seal rock this time.
Basically we are a bunch of party peoples in our early 20's and wanna go camping....

but port macquarie is a great place with a number of pubs and clubs to party at (even a night club ) with pleanty to do and see throught the day
sure can go marlin fishing but does the marlin want to play the game is another question!
we get a fairly good run of all the billiys here but only seen them in boats never seen a Landbased marlin yet
we have a very good charter boat up here 'Ocean Star' only does the bottom fishing and cost $90
we also have river cruses on the Port Ventura or could go on the Fun Boat which is vertrale a night club that floats
first boat is my bass boat a 385 exploere trophy set up for bass and bream on lures and my other boat is a sf18 southwind 18 foot cuddly cab with a 115hp yamaha set up for game and outside fishing has all safty gear and outriggers so i can safly get out the the shelf and fish (troll) there all day
been mainly concentrating on my bass fishing at the moment but i also chase kingfish snapper all other reef fish as well as troll up any pelagics but i am yet to score a marlin
i hardly ever use bait but
lures all the way on my boats
