    Snorkelling Broadwater

    Hi
planning a houseboat (Coomeera Houseboats) holiday down the Broadwater early next year. Does anyone know of any safe, reasonably interesting places to go for a bit of a snorkel?? Also any nice spots (for the missus) to pull up for a bit of a picnic etc.??

    Cheers

yeah wavebreak island is awesome, even take some bread or fish or something in the water with you, i was amazed at the sargeant majors and all the other pretty fish which will eat out of your hand,

also the seaway walls are very good for different fish life, seen some unbelieveable stuff in there, but be carefull of boats etc.

    hehe and the sharks!

but nayh its good i havent seen any sharks yet, just go in the middle of the day at the very top of the tide

    good luck
    Cheers,

    Ben
