    camp oven maintenance

just bought a cast iron camp oven and successfully cooked in it, however im noticing surface rust gathering all over the outside,

i seasoned the oven but only oiled the inside as i was told, was that correct?

can anyone give me any pointers on how to maintain or successfully setup the oven

    thanks
    Cheers,

    Ben

    Yella

Simply wipe over the outside of the oven with some cooking oil on a paper towel. Thats all I have been doing for years.
