Hi Derek, sorry to say I have to pull out as one of the kids is playing Straddie at Straddie at 11.30am and with barges I don't think I would get up there before three or half past. Hope weather stays fine for those who turn up.Good cooking!!![[smiley=2thumbsup.gif] [smiley=2thumbsup.gif]

    Hi Guys & Girls,
Thanks Derek for a top day. [smiley=2thumbsup.gif]
Those pumpkin & fruit scones (opps slip of the fingers) I mean muffins . It was a very pleasent surprise how good they were. I hate pumpkin but these were very tasty. Well done for disguising the pumpkin taste.
It was great to meet more Ausfishers.
Well thanks Derek again for the lesson and will catch you all on Ausfish.
    Cheers,
    Graham.

    D'Day Derek,

Mate thanks for a great day. The pumpkin scon..... errr I mean MUFFINS tasted great. It was good to put faces to Ausfish nicnames, good to meet you all.

Darren and Kirsten, see you at the Haines day

Graham I'll book you in for the next Friday I go fishin'

Phill we should have stayed longer, the boat wasn't worth the drive. Very hard to back to a smaller boat.

PS Derek, I don't know what you and my missus talked about, but all the way home it was Derek said he cooks this that way and does this that way etc etc etc...... I think she's out the back digging a hole for the camp oven. I can only wonder what's for dinner tonight.

Thanks to everyone who came along. Was a great day.

Tony, dont worry about the hole in the backyard, has she got some coals going in the frying pan on the kitchen bench.

Jeez I'm glad I didn't eat Lunch before visiting that lovely Banksia Beach Camp Oven Cookup.

I have one important thing to say, and that is the ARE Muffins, there is no way known that a Scone can be that moist and tasty.

    A Black Russian Pudding..........mmmmmmm !

The Fetta and Spinach Roll, the Seafood Roll............all was good and don;t worry about the black stuff on the base, it's good for the digestive system ).

Good call for the location, and another lunch there at sometime in the future is fine by me.

Hey Derek, those Bream should be cranking up soon ?

    Cheers Phill
