Dog friendly camp sites in southern moreton bay

    Hello Everybody,
I would like to take my family and dog camping and fishing in Southern Moreton Bay. On our boat. Can you suggest a place that will allow dogs?
    All the best,

You can take a dog to some of the islands around the pin, definitely not South Straddie but most of the others are ok. Not sure but I think Blakesly's at North Straddie would be ok.

Is camping allowed on caruso island? I see boats on some of the little islands in lower Moreton Bay but I am too scared to park my boat on them. Just incase someone comes out of the bushes and threatens to shoot unless I get off his property.
If it is legal to park on these sandy beaches my whole approch to setting up camp either for the day or overnight will now change.

Ha, I don't feel old yet Saphire.

Now would be different if you remembered your mum or dad watching it tho.

    Bloody good movie but. 8)

PS I would think anywhere along Straddie should be ok

Crusoes ok, but stay away from the very eastern end if you can, too much water (mozzies, creepies) behind the treeline. The other side on North straddie has some parts as well, just watch for snakes 8)

The local council should be able to provide pamphlets on where dogs can and can't be and where they have to be leashed and where they can be unleashed.
