    bribie camping

Hey guys was thinking about going camping next week for a few days on bribie main beach. Seems like an easier (and cheaper) option for a few days then moreton. I understand there's 3km's of beach camping on the northern end. Has anyone been there before?? IF so what is the camping area like? How are they biting right now? Also are you able to get around to the western side of the island to catch flathead?
    thanks

I do not know of the camping grounds on the northern end. But what about Galligahs Point or Poverty Creek on the passage side of Bribie. They can be accessed by 4wd just go to the end of White Patch and see the rangers office there for details. I have been to gallighers and you do not need a permit.
